The 35 watt UVB spot lamp is mainly used at a distance of between 20 and 30 cm from the substrate. The light cone thus covers the entire body of sun-loving reptiles up to approx. 20cm. Several smaller animals (e.g. small water or tortoises with a body length of 10cm) or individual turtles up to 20cm can also be accommodated under this lamp. For chameleons, the distance should be increased to 30-35cm and the lamp should be well protected so that the animals do not climb on it and burn themselves. •     Normal glass does not let UVB light through. Therefore, never place the lamp over a glass pane.
•     The installation must be carried out by a specialist.
•     Whenever changing, be sure to pull the power plug and let the lamp cool down.
•     Never open the product
•     If a defect occurs, disconnect the power supply immediately
•     It is normal for UV radiation to decrease over time. It is recommended to replace the lamps after approx. 3500 hours of operation.
